Dalton Ghetti : Pencil Tip Micro Sculptures

These unbelievable graphite micro sculptures were created by Dalton Ghetti, a professional carpenter working on these pencils as a side project. He has been perfecting the art of micro graphite sculpting for the last 25 years. Using a razor blade, sewing needle, a sculpting knife these sculptures can take anywhere between a few months to a few years to finish.

As you can imagine, many of the pencil sculptures have broken over the years, Dalton keeps them in what he calls 'The Cemetery Collection' - I'm sure these alone would be an impressive sight! Amazingly he has never sold any of his pieces and only given away to friends as gifts.

As spotted by Megan on Kronikle.
