Esquire are currently running their first ever Student Design Challenge!
The competition revolves around gadgets and gizmos that help us in our daily lives. From the simplest corkscrew to a stunning lightbulb or even the humble electronic tin opener! All have been designed to serve a purpose - helping us to open pesky tins.
Esquire's competition challenge is for you to create the widget of the future! Design a brand new and original product that will effortlessly fit into men’s everyday routines making the toils of life that much easier to deal with.
Their competition is open to current BA and MA design students in the UK as well as designers that have graduated within the last two years. The competition is open to absolutely anything as long as it is original, practical and can, in principle, be manufactured.
A crack team of product addicts are on standby and will whittle down the entrants to a shortlist of 10 winning designs that will be featured in our November issue.
HOW TO ENTER: To enter contestants should email design@esquire.co.uk with a blueprint of your product concept along with a 250 word summary explaining how the design works and why it will improve men’s lives. Remeber to include your name, age, university course title and a contact phone number/email address on your entry. All entries must be received by Tuesday 1st June. Good luck!! |
