  2. Agree that the ad is very good, so good I attempted to use their service in Leicester.

    Service was awful
We booked an appointment for 12.45 on a Saturday and because we were expecting to part with our old car my wife had to come along to being me home, she therefore had to bring our 4 yr old son. We were left to wait in a crappy hallway outside the little 1 man office that they had rented in a cheap serviced office building for almost 1 hour.

Eventually when they did meet us they claimed that our car which was automatic was on their system as a manual and hence they could not offer the value that they valued it at even though they were happy that the car was in superb condition. Their online valuation had recognised that the car was an automatic so something wrong with their systems.

They were then quite rude and offered me 38% less than their valuation. I was quite reasonable explaining that this was not really on at which stage they were even ruder.

I walked out, went down the road and was offered more than they were offering by an Arthur Daley used car lot owner who checked the car, agreed a price and paid me in cash within 10 minutes.

Moral is, add is good but avoid at all costs as service is rubbish and insulting.

  3. That does sound like a bit of a rubbish deal!

I can't say that the advert inspires much confidence in me - as far as service and reliability goes (but in the annoyingly catchy songs industry they are surely top).

Sounds like the best option for anyone out there looking to sell their car would be to shop around!
