Anthony Gormley's Another Place on Crosby Beach, Liverpool

I've just got back from being up north, and visited Anthony Gormley's Another Place on Crosby Beach.

Its been around for a little while now and the iron sculptures of Gormley have weathered nicely, complete with barnacles and sea weed, they have come alive with the sea.

If you're ever nearby make sure you go and check it out!

  1. I think these statues are quite amazing. But when I saw the head and leg shots, I cringed and the hair on my arms stood. Seriously, it looks like a sculpture of an individual with a horrible skin disease. Blistering barnacles indeed!

    1. No way! :) I love the barnacles and sea weed. The sea is taking over and engulfing the sculptures, I wonder how many years it will take before the arms start falling off! Glad you liked them though.
