24hr Bag In Town Competition from Eastpak

Eastpak have recently teamed up with The European Design Institution to launch a new competition to design an all purpose 24 hour urban bag. The winner of the competition is set to win a whopping €5,000 and see your creation hit the market in 2013.

The Bag in Town competition is open to designers of all levels and experience, from the world of fashion to design & communication - It's all about having the best idea for a 24 hour bag. So break out that sketch pad and start thinking. What's it going to be... A nifty phone pocket on the strap? Or maybe a travel card holder? Or perhaps your 24 hours are rather different from the norm? There have already been some interesting entries so far!

The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18. Submissions end on the 1st July 2012. The six best projects will be selected on the basis of style and innovative point of view – three by a specialized jury and three by the wider public.
