Screamin' Jay Hawkins - I Put A Spell On You - Linoprint

This is a linoprint of the great Screamin' Jay Hawkins I've been working on recently. An amazing performer, and one of the first shock rockers, Screamin' Jay Hawkins was a legend! The song and haunting performance of 'I Put A Spell On You' was what inspired me to create a print of Hawkins (see video at the bottom).

Jonny Hannah at the Tom Paine Press, Lewes

Loving the work of Jonny Hannah at the moment, I went to see his latest exhibition at the Tom Paine Press a couple of weeks ago having not seen his work before. It was a great collection crammed into the Tom Paine Press, it was rather tight in there but there was so much great work to see it didn't matter at all.

Wish I'd taken some pictures, here's a small selection of work I've found online.

Hannah Rollings - My Travel Journal

My travel journal is the perfect kids travel book, packed full of exciting and thought provoking activities.

The journal is divided into chapters which cover topics such as passports, the suitcase, the journey, favourite places, food discoveries and more. Each chapter will challenge any child to think and describe their holiday by drawing faces and animals they see to writing about their experiences of the day.

My travel journal was in a shortlist of 18 for the V&A Book Award 2011, from nearly 1,000 entries.

Hannah Rollings is an illustrator \ author who has previously published books titled; Utterly Mindless Thrills and Peepshow Magazine.
